Task Force Delta had personnel stationed at Da Nang to refuel and rearm their F-4s and A-6s. Flight operations commonly departed Nam Phong, flew combat missions in Viet Nam and Laos, landed at Da Nang SVN for "turn around" to fly another combat mission on return to Nam Phong, Thailand.
